Shoulder Pain & Performance Workshops in San Diego
For you CrossFitters out there, we’ve got shoulder pain workshops in San Diego for you. The 2017 Open is probably still fresh in your minds. As always, the Open taxes the shoulders…heavily. After low back issues, shoulder pain and shoulder performance are the most frequent reasons for patient visits at our clinic. We’ve put together a series of shoulder pain workshops in San Diego to help out.
Whether you participate in CrossFit or not, answer the following questions to see if this workshop is for you.
Do you ever have tight shoulders? Unstable shoulders?
Do you ever have shoulder pain during or after overhead movements?
Do you ever wonder how you’ll ever get into a perfect overhead squat?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then we have a workshop for you!
Our shoulder capsules are filled with all types of physiological awesomeness that have a huge impact on our bodies’ ability to do what we want them to. Immobility and instability in these capsules reduces performance and increases the likelihood of acute or chronic issues.
Come join the rest of the San Diego fitness community at this Shoulder Care and Performance on Saturday, May 6 from 9am to 10:30am at CrossFit 858 Mission Gorge.
The workshop will be led by international movement expert Dr. Theresa Larson DPT, and her Movement Rx colleagues. Together they’ll lead an interactive (and nearly pain-free) session on the whys and hows of eliminating shoulder pain and improving shoulder performance.
You will learn, practice, and take home a number of techniques to use that will improve your movement and stability, reduce pain and significantly decrease your chance of over-use injuries.
A portion of proceeds will go to a wonderful cause: www.operation22MST.org.
