Carrie comes to San Diego from Sweet Home Alabama. A local since 2011, she has been involved in many different health and wellness areas. From training herself to compete in fitness competitions to finishing Ironman Austin 70.3, she has learned a lot about how to live a healthy lifestyle. She recently incorporated CrossFit and enjoys the variety it provides her.
When Carrie is not charming visitors to Movement Rx you can find her exploring San Diego like a tourist…hiking, biking, rock climbing, swimming, running, making cold brew, and exploring new recipes. She has a daughter, EmFran, and Weimaraner, Lincoln, that keep her on her toes. She’s often seen running with EmFran in the jogging stroller and Lincoln beside her.
She came to Movement Rx after seeking a physical therapy company that had a mission and culture that she believed in…a commitment to spending time with the patient, a team that walks the talk, and a philosophy of educating people so they can help themselves.
She is excited to be a part of this amazing team. For her, this is more than a job; she is on a mission to use the experience as a mom, triathlete, newbie crossfitter, baker for the masses, closet comedian and – best of all Southern – to help Movement Rx impact as many people as possible.
